Now here's the story so far:

You are Seargent Samuel "Sam" Doyle, Hawk Company, 17th Light Drop Infantry
Regiment, United States Marine Corps, serial number 888-19-7206.
OK, Seargent, I'm sorry to interrupt your shore leave, but strange things
have happened on an asteroid in the Asteroid Belt.
Some hours ago we received a distress signal from TechBase 127, the UAC radar
station, located in this sector.
Not very much of the message was understandable, only this: beings of
unknown nature have invaded the base.
Then the transmission ceased abruptly.
Your mission is to investigate the situation. You will be dropped in a nearby
gorge. To reach TechBase 127 you'll have to make your way through the
abandoned mine shafts.
Be very careful with your ammunition. We don't know how much is left there.
