The car which was used
throughout the
series was a white Volvo P1800... or better several different versions
of this car. Sometimes footage of different models was used in the
same episode! (for example in Episodes #66 "The
Smart Detective" or #68 "The
Man Who Could Not Die")
Actually four cars existed over the course of the series, identified by
their number plate:
71 DXC was bought and restored by Kevin Price. Here's a link to the website dedicated to the restoration of this car.
77 GYL was part
of the collection of the Cars of the Stars (invalid link) museum. The museum was closed in May 2011.
NUV 648E
was also in the collection but was sold in 2005 to fan Bill Krzastek
and meticulously
